Michelle Worthy-Freeman

Board Member

Michelle Worthy-Freeman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Therapist and has a long history of working with individuals found in hospital and community settings. She has excelled in connecting families with essential services and providing education along the way. Michelle is also an adjunct professor at St. Louis Community College where she prepares students for a career in Counseling/Social Work.

Michelle has a strong faith and a love for people. Converging these paths led her to become a champion for promoting personal growth. She passionately encourages others to be the best versions of themselves while embracing the notion that one can start over and begin anew. It was with this desire to help people discover Life After disappointments and setbacks her series of workshops were created.

Standing Empowered Liberated Free (SELF) is designed to empower individuals through a journey of self-discovery. Each workshop is designed to create a safe place for participants to identify past failures and hurts that have caused them to become emotionally stagnant and begin the healing process that will promote movement forward and growth.
